Brannans.com Announces Official Results from first Premium Domain Name Auction
This morning, Brannan’s announced the results of their first auction.
“Our official number is $34,000 in sales. Not great, but not bad considering that we launched on March 18 and we’re less than one month old,” said David Clements, Brannan’s Founder and CEO. “What is noteworthy is that we had 7,052 catalog views. That’s a lot. Many of those views were from businesses that we have contacted about the domain names in our auction. I’m happy to say that things went without a hitch. Choosing Proxibid as our platform was such a good move for us and we are very happy with how smoothly things went using their system.”
Here are the actual results:
“The real work is ahead of us. It is in continuing to build on the contacts and on the conversations with potential buyers for some of the best domain names I have ever seen in the marketplace. California.com. Seriously, it doesn’t get better than that. Digital.com. CreditReports.com. MusicVideos.com. Connecticut.com. Futons.com. Renovate.com. These are all names we are talking to businesses about. We will continue to work every deal we can to find buyers for names we have been trusted with selling.”
If you are in charge of a corporate domain portfolio or you work with a company that has less than 1,500 employees and you and want to learn more then please contact us to find out how domain names can help your company with branding and marketing. There is no better time than now to buy one. Domain names go up in value every year and they have for over a decade.
The right domain name becomes your company's brand in this day and age. It increases website traffic, market share, and profits. Compared with the ongoing cost of advertising, the one-time investment in a domain name is a logical choice. There is a limited amount of time to purchase the right domain name because once a company like Johnson & Johnson buys a name like Baby.com it will never be for sale again. Brannan's auction house and brokerage service sells from the pool of 220 million domain names that are already registered on the world wide web. Some are advertised as being for sale, but the bulk of them are held privately. After consulting with you and your team, the Brannan's Business Unit will contact these domain registrants and take all of the confusion out of the process for you.
